Cece Fein Hughes is forever inspired by the mysteries of the moorland she grew up surrounded by in South West England’s Dartmoor—as well as her father’s tales of deep-sea adventures. Today, she’s based out of London, where she channels that air of mystique and her fascination with storytelling into dreamy, fairytale-like watercolors—populated with imagery culled from mythology, legends, and enchanting motifs—which are then replicated in miniature scale via champlevé enamel onto signet rings and pendants. The results stand out beautifully and vibrantly set against the designer’s signature 18K satin-finished gold—an effect that’s only enhanced by diamonds and precious gems flecked throughout.
