Staple items like quality boots (31%), a winter coat (26%), and jeans (23%) are as likely to be investments as well as more specialty or fine items.
In other words, investing in wardrobe items is not just about special occasion wear. Of women who have purchased investment pieces: 36% have bought fine jewelry as an investment, and 31% have bought boots as an investment.
