Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects.

Michele is Akua Objects' most Venetian inspired collection, introducing Italian carafes, vases and bowls with a poetic reference. Crafted strictly by hand by expert artisans, each object is a unique creation that upholds the ancient Murano tradition, a testament to the legacy of Michele’s family-run glass studio. Venetian glass has been produced in Venice, typically on the island of Murano since the 13th century. Today, Murano is well known for its production of ornate distinctive, and high-quality art glass.
