Marchanta Mini Set Larimar

Marchanta honors the rich and diverse beauty of the Dominican Republic with functional sculptures made by local artisans and craftworkers. Marchanta’s signature shape evokes the rattan baskets used by Dominican marchantas, piled high with colorful fruits and fragrant flowers to be sold in town.

Larimar marble sculpture, “vasija” clay candle holder with 22k gold rim, and “velon” scented candle refills.

Marchanta sculpture is made of solid Larimar, an extraordinary semi-precious blue volcanic stone found only in the Dominican Republic. Every piece is uniquely its own with variations of blue with elements of gray, white and brown. Carved using state-of-the-art techniques and finished by hand.

Vasija candle holder is handmade of local clay and finished with a 22k gold rim.

The signature scent, MARCHANTA 01, is designed in collaboration with Bertrand Douchafour and formulated in Grasse, France.
