Marchanta Mini Set Portoro Gold Marble

Marchanta honors the rich and diverse beauty of the Dominican Republic with functional sculptures made by local artisans and craftworkers. Marchanta’s signature shape evokes the rattan baskets used by Dominican marchantas, piled high with colorful fruits and fragrant flowers to be sold in town.

Marchanta sculpture is made of solid Portoro Gold Marble, an exceptionally dramatic and luxurious stone responsibly sourced in the northeastern D.R. Carved using state-of-the-art techniques and finished by hand.

Vasija candle holder is handmade of local clay and finished with a 22kt gold rim.

The signature scent, MARCHANTA 01, is designed in collaboration with Bertrand Douchafour and formulated in Grasse, France.
