Hailing from eclectic Manhattan, Ulla Johnson - the daughter of archaeologists -travelled the world throughout her childhood, absorbing the colors, flavors and textures of ancient cultures surrounding her. Her eponymous brand effortlessly channels this unique upbringing by balancing modern silhouettes with vivacious patterns and hues, inspired this season by the Abstract Expressionist works of artist Lee Krasner.

The Asher jeans explore a number of classic themes – note the notched waistline, pintuck seams and carpenters’ loop. Crafted in traditional, blue-washed denim flanked by workwear stitches, these jeans are designed to sit low on the hip and fall to an androgynous wide-fit through the leg, pairing well with ankle boots or simple ballet flats.
